Conducted audience analyses, collected surveys, gathered research, presented long term and short term values for the organization and members, identified inputs, outputs and outcomes. 

Created charter, pitch, identified venues, planned content and meeting calendars. 

Championed the implementation of a multi-data infographic creation process which included to ensure content is aligned with the World Bank’s timely global objectives.

Created corporate styleguides and postcard templates to publish spring and annual meetings’ findings.

Gathered data and produced key messages and content in support with the communication strategy including infographic, multimedia assets, and blogs.

Planned and executed online marketing and advertising campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Flipboard in support of a broader engagement’s objectives.

• Lead the effort for creating and maintaining the Country Department Caribbean Group (CCB) voice and for overseeing the Caribbean countries regional communications. Ensure every communication product is on-brand, consistent in style and quality, timely and optimized for search on a variety of channels, and targets diverse audiences.

> Led the branding for the Caribbean’s Annual Governors meetings (pre- AGM);

> Hire agencies, negotiate contract terms, create SOW;

> Conceptualize/manage storyboard, verify accuracy of content with subject- matter experts, and manage timeline and deliverables;

> Manage web coordinator, web developer, graphic designers, and trained producers to use newsletters, to extract subscribers, and to edit templates; 

> Trained economists, communication and operations specialists how to write creatively to increase number of blog viewers and newsletter subscribers and decrease bouncing rate. 

 

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of the communication strategy for the Caribbean Region of the IDB.

Conduct/coordinate communications, events and media activities to advance the regional agenda, the dissemination of studies, promotion of key events and initiatives, and raise awareness about issues with IDB partners, media, academia, civil society, and the general public in Latin America and the Caribbean.

 

• Build and oversee the region’s comprehensive content strategy by collaborating with various stakeholders to establish the division as a thought leader in the Caribbean, constantly measuring and improving the breadth, depth and timeliness of content in order to increase engagement.

Manage the writing, editing, translation, and dissemination of blog posts (French/Spanish) on Caribbean Dev Trends; the IDB blog website for the Caribbean;

Direct, create, and coordinate the creation of podcasts, TV/radio interviews, short documentaries, and feature stories on projects in the Caribbean;

Manage and coordinate the production of a monthly online newsletter;

Develop the region's SharePoint portal and other webpages.

• Create marketing strategy and dissemination plan, tracking progress and performance through clear pre-set metrics.

Monitor web and social outreach goals with industry-standard tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite analytics and insights, Twitter analytics, Mailchimp etc.

 

• Identify and conceptualize new opportunities to bring visibility to the IDB at the Caribbean’s Annual Governors meeting (pre-AGM). 

Directed a #JumpCaribbean campaign and pre-AGM’s introductory video to bring voice and visibility to the Caribbean countries and to imagine the Caribbean countries in 2040;

Liaised with country and government representatives to collect and curate content; Initiated, designed, and managed an 80 pages annual printed and online magazine  “The Next Wave”. This included drafting proposal, planning budget, and soliciting content; Led the branding, signage, agenda, set-up, backdrops, app and all other material for the Caribbean’s Annual Governors meetings (pre- AGM);

Co-planned the pre-AGM meetings, advising on event planning activities, partnerships, press logistics etc.

• Cultivate new collaboration and storytelling tactics among Caribbean country representatives to grow content extraction, creation, and distribution.

Managed, drafted, and edited content including blogs, press releases, videos, animated scripts, key messages, talking points, speeches, op-eds and other materials and social media outputs that illustrate campaigns, the scope, importance, results and impacts of the department’s activities.
